Research with Pride

This year the Park Library brings awareness to Pride Month and the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising by featuring Park Library resources that explore LGBTQ history, culture, and activism. Begin your experience by learning more about the Stonewall Riots of June 1969, the event that kick-started the LGBTQ rights movement. Or maybe you would like to discover primary sources available in The Archives of Sexuality & Gender that focus on the social, political, health, and legal issues impacting LGBTQ communities around the world. If you are looking for a Pride Month booklist, we have created a virtual bookshelf with recommended books that highlight the range of books in the Library collection written by, about, and for the LGBTQ community. A big thank you to Aparna Zambare and Susan Powers, the expert librarians who assembled this list.
