Remembering Milton Glaser

If you have substituted a (heart) for the word LOVE, you have more than likely been influenced by the work of Milton Glaser. This world-renown creative who has influenced the graphic design world for decades is responsible for the iconic I (Heart) NY logo – still wildly popular 44 years after its creation.

 

“I (heart) New York was so contagious that people all over the world adopted it and half the world copied it, substituting the name of their country or city or hamburger stand for New York.”

 “Milton Glaser gave the world the gold standard for communication design: simple, arresting, feeling, and therefore universal.”
