Epiphyllum Oxypetalum
(Night Blooming Cereus)
This orchid cactus blooms for one single night. The white blossom opens late in the evening, releasing an exquisite scent all night long, and closes at dawn. A healthy plant can produce up to a dozen blooms at a time, with several flushes throughout the summer.
