Each year CMU Libraries recognizes CMU authors who have published a book in the preceding year. These varied and interesting books reflect the range of CMU authors’ research subjects and expertise.
Twenty CMU authors published books in 2019. The subjects and genres are many: WWII history, anthropology, women and religion, migrant lives, historical novels, literature, human anatomy, presidential debates, gender studies, human memory, international business, studies of science fiction, fashion design, microeconomics, research methods, and Latin American history.
Please join us in the Park Library Auditorium and the Baber Room on March 31, 2020, at the 16th Annual Book Recognition Event to celebrate these writers’ creative achievements. Sponsored by the Office of the Provost and University Libraries, the annual Book Recognition Event celebrates CMU authors, editors, illustrators, and translators. You can view past recipients online and can browse the book collection located on the north end of the Park Library’s second floor.
