Learner Resource Evaluation

  4. Code.org has been added to our Library class this school year.  As part of a new program that we are running in our library, it is used as a station of learning on Chromebooks.  Students choose their own paths and it is impressive to watch them create their own codes to move through the units.  Student codes are used to move objects.  If their object doesn’t make it to the goal then the student is given another opportunity to fix their error and aid in their growth mindset.
  5. Students take an active role in their own learning by choosing their own learning paths with this website.  This kind of empowerment directly shows how students are active with their learning goals.  It is impressive to see the level of engagement that is reached during this time frame.
