Acting as graduate assistant to the Chippewa River Writing Project, April Sherman is happy to be a part of the Summer Institute experience this year. She is currently enrolled in the Language and Literature program through CMU’s English department, having worked as a high school English and French teacher for four years in Virginia. Along with her duties under the CRWP, she also acts as a graduate assistant consulting one-on-one with college-age student writers at the CMU Writing Center on campus. And yes, when April is not checking citations, managing wikis, or making phone calls, she enjoys writing.
April would like to congratulate all of the teacher participants of the 2010 Summer Institute for their hard work during the past few weeks. Working alongside everyone has truly been an exhilarating learning experience!
