A Project Management Office is designed to manage projects and improve the management of the enterprise through portfolio management, which links projects to the university’s strategy.
Why was the PMO Created?
The Project Management Office was created to address deficiencies in project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, sourcing, as well as ensure alignment with CMU’s strategy.
