Navigating the Park Library Building

  • Follow directional signs when entering doors, waiting in lines, using staircases and elevators, and moving through public areas.
  • When areas of the building reach maximum capacity, we will post signs directing users to other spaces.
  • Events are cancelled for the foreseeable future. We are not accepting reservations for any of our event spaces or meeting rooms.

 Studying at Park Library

  • Follow Fired Up for Spring requirements to keep CMU healthy and safe.
  • Complete the mandatory self-screening before entering the Park Library.
  • At all times, wear a mask/face-covering covering your nose and mouth.
  • At all times, maintain at least 6-feet of space between yourself and others.
    • Plan to study by yourself. One person per table or carrel section.
    • The 6-foot requirement applies to all library users – even if you are related to each other or live together.
    • Currently, the library has limited capacity for groups. The group study rooms are not available. Groups of 2 or 3 are encouraged to use the Copeland Suite or 3 East. You can rearrange the furniture and must be 6-feet apart from each other.
    • Learn more about studying at the library while physically distancing.
  • Clean your work surface before and after use. Cleaning products are available throughout the building.
  • Please note, fewer computers are available due to physical distancing.
  • Library employees will walk through study spaces periodically to enforce these policies.
  • Quiet classrooms on campus are available throughout campus where you can virtually attend your classes or take an online exam.
