Graduation 2020

Congratulations Graduates!

Congratulations to our library student employees who will be graduating this fall.  We are proud of your accomplishments and wish you the best with your future goals!  May the exceptional circumstances of 2020 inspire you to make our world a better place.

Amanda Broadus is a student employee with Access Services.  She is graduating in December with a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Public Relations and a minor in Psychology.  After graduation she plans to go back home to Indianapolis, IN where she plans to continue building her brand, Cosmetic Crazed, to educate women about beauty, self-esteem, and sustainability.

Joshua Golden is a student employee with the Clarke Historical Library who graduates this fall with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Fashion Merchandising and Design. His future plans include a full-time position in the Apparel Department of Nike Corporate Headquarters.

Austen Merconti, a Library Systems student employee, is graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.  After graduation, Austen plans to join Comerica Bank as a Technology Product Analyst and will be moving to Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Nkechi Okafor, a student employee in the Clarke Historical Library, is graduating with a Master of Science in Administration – Engineering Management.  Nkechi hopes to find a job in the US to gain practical, hands-on experience.  Later she plans to return to her home country of Nigeria, where her CMU education will enable her to work in a variety of managerial fields like project and operational management.

Olivia Salik, a student employee with Documents on Demand, is graduating in December with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science: Kinesiology and plans to attend an accelerated nursing program in Michigan.
