Route 66 – Amarillo, Texas

A public art installation, erected in 1974 by a group of artists known as the Antfarm, consists of 10 Cadillacs, half-buried in a wheat field. Visitors are encouraged to add graffiti to the cars, creating an artform that has been changing continually – for over 40 years.
