Author: Phillip Coffman, Manager, Creative Media Production, CETL

The Video Maker Space is CETL’s self-booking, user-guided video studio for faculty, located in the back of the Park 413D classroom. The space is outfitted with a 28” annotation tablet for marking up slides, an HD camera, a professional studio backdrop, and a powerful audio processor to capture crystal clear sound. Since opening, the space has been utilized to create over 240 videos, which is almost 25 hours of media. Here are just a few faculty comments about the space:

“This is just too cool…You come in, record, and walk out with a finished product!”

“I really like the setup and think it is a great venue for recording better quality video.”

“Used the new CETL video maker space to record 13 videos…Mission accomplished! This is a wonderful resource!”
